Privacy Policy
Information We Collect
When you submit a membership application, private event inquiry, table reservation, or newsletter signup through this website, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and any details you provide in the form — for reservations this also includes your party size, reservation date and time, and any notes you add. We do not collect payment information through this site.
How We Use Your Information
The information you provide is used solely to respond to your inquiry, manage your reservation, or deliver the communications you signed up for. Reservation details (name, phone, party size) are visible to Sabor Havana staff so we can seat you and contact you about your booking. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Email Communications
If you sign up for our newsletter, you are opting in to receive marketing emails from us — announcements and reminders about events and happenings at the lounge. We send these through Brevo, our email marketing provider, which stores your email address for this purpose. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you may opt out at any time or email us to be removed. Transactional messages you specifically request — such as a reservation, membership, or private-event confirmation — are separate from marketing and are sent whether or not you subscribe to the newsletter.
Data Storage
Form submissions and reservations are stored securely in our database (Supabase); transactional confirmation emails are sent via EmailJS; and newsletter contacts are managed through Brevo. These services employ industry-standard encryption and security practices. Reservation records are retained for our operational records; you may request deletion at any time (see Your Rights below).
Cookies & Third-Party Services
This website does not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data or use it for cross-site advertising. We do use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate — which pages are visited and how often people complete a booking or inquiry — so we can improve it. We never send your name, email address, or phone number to Google Analytics. We use a small set of other external services to run the site: Google Fonts (typography), Google Maps (Hours & Location page), Google Sheets (to display our live hours, events, and availability), Supabase (database and staff authentication), EmailJS (transactional email), and Brevo (newsletter signups, only if you subscribe). Local browser storage is used for basic site function, such as remembering your age confirmation.
Your Rights
You may request that we delete any personal information you have submitted by contacting us at saborhavanacigarlounge@gmail.com. We will honor all deletion requests within 30 days.
